We have created a legal resource for both professionals and nonprofessionals. Some information and services are only available to the members of the Lorain County Law Library, a benefit to their annual services fee.
We have put together pages that link legal researchers with law codes, decisions, rules and useful legal information that are available on the web.
Only service fee paying individuals and registered statutory users from Lorain County’s court system may use the “Members Only” section of this website.
The Lorain County Law Library Resources Board is a nonprofit attorney only membership library, by paying an annual membership services fee.
The annual services fee is $100.00. Members of the Lorain County Bar Association receive a 10% discount on the annual services fee. The services fee for full-time or part-time law students, summer interns, or summer law clerks is $50.00.
A five-person board of trustees that is appointed by elected county officials, governs the law library.
These trustees generously volunteer their time to oversee the operation of the library. As a result of their leadership and vision, the law library has developed into a first class facility that provides its members with the best possible services.
