Dues

The annual membership dues for the law library are $100.00 per calendar year.  Full-time law students pay only $50.00 per calendar year.  The membership dues are prorated to half the regular rate after July 1st and are valid through December 31st..  Everyone that uses the law library must pay annual membership dues.  The only individuals who are exempt from paying library dues are judges, elected state officials, elected officials of Lorain County, and elected officials of the municipalities and townships within Lorain County.  These individuals are permitted free use of the library by law.

Dues invoices for the following year are sent out to current members each December.  Payments may be made in person by cash or check..  Members may also mail a check for their dues payment.  New members may join in person, or by mail.  Full payment is required to activate membership.
